Bullfight tradition in Spain
In Spain , bullfight is not a sport but an ancient sacrifical ritual and art form symbolizing the dance of death between human and beast. The traditional social event of bullfighting is known as corrida de toros, and consists of three bullfighters, each of whom performs twice bullfighting six wild bulls. There is also an orchestra announcing when each of the three stages starts and ends. In order to try to avoid animal cruelty in many Spanish cities, the practice of bullfighting has been banned.
Variety of Spanish cuisine
The variety of Spanish dishes depends on the area we are considering. There are three main divisions: Mediterranean area, Inner Spain and Atlantic Spain. In the Mediterranean area, fish is the main element (very famous is the Valencian paella). The internal area prefers soups and food preserved in salt such as the very tasty ham. Fish is also preferred in the Atlantic area.
